The Tryouts
Annual Tryouts 2009
What we looking for
It's time for tryouts for Fall 2009 season.
SF Viking Soccer Club sign-up desk at Crocker Amezon Soccer Field.
Chargers managers are at the Annual Tryouts in search of talents to
fill our roster.
It's an Annual Tryouts so Chargers are not the only one looking in
search of talents.
Some said they could spot a soccer player from a mile away.
My take is that at this distance it should not be a problem, hmmm...
But we prefer to see potential players up close and sometime......
off guards.....!
Overall attitudes toward the game......
The love of the game....
and finally, the officals' opinions.
Thanks to Christope, Jim Broshar, Joey, and Paul,  seen in this photo, for helping
out with the tryouts.
The feedback.....

learly, above requirement reminds us that

For this reason, principles of defending should,
therefore, be clearly clear to regain possession of
the ball.
                 Tactics
         (The Knowledge of The Game)

Interestingly, while rules of play for The Laws of
The Game are in this category, when we say the
Knowledge of The Game we normally meant The
Tactic of The Game. They are consisting of
several obvious but nonetheless challenging
components that can also be referred to as Game
Speed and Game Impact.

Game Speed:
Speed of Anticipation is the ability to anticipate
a game situation and its development as quickly as
possible.

Speed of Recognition is the ability to recognize
the development of the game and its possibility as
quickly as possible.

Speed of Action is the ability to carry out
game-specific action under time pressure.

Speed of Recovery  is the ability to re-act to
unforeseen situation as soon as possible.

Note. Game Speed essentially develops through game
experience.

Game Impact:
G
enerally this is refer to the abilities of the players to
positively affect the game with or without the ball.
This often referred to as transition.

When is in possession of the ball:
The ability to involve teammates to take advantage
of a game situation.

When a teammate has possession:
The ability to move into the position to support the
teammate.

When opposing team is in possession:
The ability immediately move into the position to
influent the abilities to regain possession
Yes, these are things players need to bring to
tryouts or at the least show signs of abilities to
readiness to mater them through future training.
